Trevor

Trevor is your typical 6 year old boy. Active, adventurous, curious, and brave.

He likes sports and outdoors and will run and jump anywhere.

He loves superheroes and dinosaurs and the minions from Despicable Me.

He's my little artist, paint, drawing, sculpting, etc, he's an artist. In a 10 minute VBS activity using only pipe cleaners, he made an angel that stood up. He loves art and it's a good outlet and distraction for him.

He is a people person. He loves his family, but he makes friends pretty much any where we go. I always hear from the staff at his school and other young adults how much they love him, how cute he is, how sweet, etc.

Emotionally, he does a great job of displaying his emotions. There is no confusion or withholding. We encourage sharing feelings. We had issues for awhile where he would bottle everything up and then just explode, but now he is so much better at expressing himself, and he uses art as a means of expressing emotion.

Educationally, he's right on track. He's smarter than most kids in his class but likes to  be the class clown and it's hard for him to sit long enough to pay attention. He's starting 1st grade in the Fall of 2013 at a private Lutheran elementary school.

He plays football and loves every moment of it. He likes to be the running back and is really good at reading the field and finding the opening and once he gets going, it's hard to catch him.

Physically, he's smaller than most boys his age. He's only in the 25th percentile for height and the 5th percentile for weight. He's my little peanut. We measured him in June 2013 and he was 45.5" tall and weighed 40 lbs.

He eats fruit constantly and loves his steak medium rare. There are few vegetables he'll eat unless they're fresh (we're talking just picked) we get lots of sweet corn during the summer, he'll eat snap peas and green beans right off the plant. He likes to eat cherry tomatoes and that's it. He loves rice and grains, but not breads. He does understand the food groups and how much he needs to eat and he likes to help make meals.
